Michael Warshauer will attend the American Association for Justice meetings. He will chair the Gastric Bypass Litigation Group meeting, will co-chair the State Delegates meeting as chair-elect, will participate in several other committees as a member. While in San Juan, Michael will also attend the meetings of the Academy of Trial Lawyers, a group of elite lawyers from throughout the U.S. Similary, Michael will also attend meetings for the AAJ Leaders Forum, a group whose members have contributed significantly to the cause of protecting the civil Justice System.

A federal court jury returned a 1.5 million dollar verdict today in favor of Joe Allen in his claims against Norfolk Southern Railway Company. The 59 year old Allen injured his back when an unsafe chair collapsed when he sat in it at the Charleston TN, NS depot.
